Mother-in-Law HELL

Gosh, this woman jsut drives me up the wall – this year my hub and I decided to spend mother’s day with my mom for a change. So when we got back home DH gave MIL a call.. she sarcstically asks him (to make him feel bad) if he had a good time by my parents.. of course.. DH feeels guilty and tells her No, not really.. which maDe me go off my head as it was a lie and she manipulated him in saying what she wanted to hear.. she wanted some sort of satisfaction..

Oh man this is a doozie! My SIL and her boyfriend (FBIL… sorta they won’t ever get married but they do have a child together) are a WRECK! Let me give you some back story.

SIL is 6 years younger then DH (and 2 1/2 years younger then me). She, her bf and their 18month old dd live with my MIL and SFIL. Her bf is my age (23) and he already has ONE felony.

He got a felony when he was 17 for receiving stolen property (which was a GUN mind you from a ROBBERY) he JUST got off of probation about a year ago, no jail time, and he was working on getting his record expunged so he could join the Navy and make something of himself. I’m so grateful to have found this website with so many women going through the same things I am. I’m getting married soon and both of my future in laws are not happy about it at all. To this day I’ve never heard a congratulations leave my FMIL’s lips to me or my fiance. Wedding planning is going on and we have a problem. First of all, I am so glad to find this site. Every time I complain about my MIL to my friends or coworkers my stories are too crazy for them to believe. If I don’t watch out I’ll end up writing a novel on here so I am going to try and keep it short and to the point:
-My evil MIL started off as an evil mother. For the past eighteen months we have kept the In laws as far away from us as possible. Now we are in the midst of the Hoiliday Season – I go go on for hours about the nightmare Christmas Eve at my in laws – as I am sure you have all experienced in the past/ or recently.
