Mother-in-law Hell

First of all I have to say to the young ladies about to get married.STOP…and observe his parents carefully.If they do things that annoy you,if they have little quirks and attitudes that drive you up the wall.Guess what your future hub is going to be like.It doesnt hapen overnight,they morph very slowly untill one day you realise that you have married their clone.Find out everything about them and the family.
Find out their secrets and genetic diseases.If I knew then what I know now….Fil is in a CULT.UGH!!!
Where to start. I have come to the point that I am finsihed with them.Hub has never set boundaries and as a result psycho wack job belives that she can tells us what to do and how to do it.I could write for days.Nothing is ever good enough.This woman didnt say hardly 2 words to me until the day of our wedding that I didnt want,hub wanted a wedding to please mumsie…that should have tipped me off big time.

We lived together for 2 years before getting married and she kept sending him letters asking where she should send his mail.This psychohag has made my life a living hell for 15 years and do ya think hub has ever grown a set of kiwis to tell her off.NO.

-Mil is condecsending,manipulative,racist, phoney,lazy,she thinks shes better than everyone else.She trys to force her version of values on us which requires us to spend all of our free time with them.Iput my kids first,she was a rotten mother who put herself and her friends ahead of her family,hub is still trying to please that selfish hag.

The most recent fam upheaval. Hubs sister is getting married,she lives 2 days away,shes a nurse so she thinks shes some sort of expert on everything,including children and she doesnt have any.Never mind that shes 10 years younger than me and her only life experience has involved bars and a short stint in the porn industry.Mumsie doesnt know about that.I’m keeping that jem under my hat for a while.
Hub calls mil and tells her that theres no way we can make it to this wedding..as if it will be her first and last.We have 4 kids I’m a SAHM. Were not rich but were not poor.We do just fine.MIl decides to comb over our entire lives and tell us where she felt that we misspent.Apparently clothes and furniture are some sort of luxury that we should go without because we should be saving our money to be with them. We should greatfully accept their 30 year old crap.I guess my fam doesnt count.We were also informed that we should be saving money to buy them better christmas gifts.I dont shop for them hub does.Hub has allowed her to manipulate him into going to this wedding which will set us back 3000$.Future BIL…obnoxious,cocky,know it all with ADD….Real joy.
-MIL thinks that I do too much laundry so when were at their guest house she gets mad if I do more than one load every 3 days.We should use a towel several times. EEEEWWW!She gets mad if we clean anything,that includes the foul smelling dish rag that she uses for weeks on end.On average I have to spend 3 hours cleaning before we can use the guest house because they dont clean anything.I wont even get into the food issues.The woman cant cook,or shes too lazy to put any effort into anything.Theyre too cheap to put the heat on before November.I love their version of air conditioning…shut the house like a crypt when its 38 degrees and think that the AC is working just because they have it.The dont bother to turn it on and god forbid anyone touches the coveted thermostat…lunatics.
-MIL never phones or visits,she expects us to do it all.Her and FIL are worth 2 million$$$.
- I dont believe in teaching kids about Santa or the easter bunny,my kids think theyre stupid anyway but do ya think anyone respects that.NO.
My kids dont even want to be with them for holidays anymore.
- Hubs bros wife has her shnozz burried so far up mumsies rear end.SIL is very competitive and a serious suck up.I kiss nobodys butt that
displeases the SIL’s.Every year for christmas FIL gives everyone money,MIL tells US how to spend it.
I love to shop.I bargain hunt.I go to thrift stores,we dont over spend but because I like to shop mil ASSUMES that I must be throwing money irresponsibly all over the place.We have some debt but my name isnt on the card.! Oh yeah,fam get togethers involves us doing everything together so I’m not allowed to enjoy my vacations and do a bit of shopping.This fam has never liked me
they dont want me around,yet if I’m not pasted to their butt during these forced reunions they complain and the judging,assuming and finger pointing starts.They insult us to our face,subtley of course so we cant say anything without making ourselves look stupid.Hub knows that there are problems,hes fed up but he wont say anything.
I have barely skimmed the surface of the iceburg.This family is nuts.
