My husband has fibromyalgia and is in a lot of pain. His mother has had some similar issues. When on the phone she would ask how he is doing so he would tell her a little bit about what was going on with him. One time when MIL and I were alone she said that she was tired of my husband telling her all about his problems and that she thought he was being a big baby and that he needed to get over it! She also said that she didn’t know why he was telling her about his pain! Well I pointed out to her that she had similar issues and that if anyone could understand it would be her and that she asked him! I let my husband know what she said and he says fine if she asks how he’s doing. This is only one of many cruel thing that she has said. Oh, so many more to write.
