My mother in law is absolutely nuts. My fiancé and I bought a house about a month ago. She has been at our house almost every day since. Now she is trying to step in when it comes to my fiancé’s son, making things harder with his mother. I can’ take it anymore. She does my wash when she’s at my house- she doesn’t even ask she just does it. It is like she is trying to control our lives when she hasn’t been in ”J”s(my fiance, her son) life for almost two years. In in the beginning of our relationship she told him he was a piece of crap and stopped talking to him. Now she won’t leave us the hell alone. We bought a house for privacy to start our lives together. Why is she having trouble letting go when before she wanted nothing to do with ”J”? I don’t understand this and I need help. I told ”J” that she needs to back off a little bit to let me do things. I am working two jobs and trying to keep our house clean and her being there on my days off just puts me over the deep end. He says it’s just his mother being herself. But why does she care now? We made it to where we want to be on our own and it is like she wants to take credit for where me and ”J” got to.Where do I go from here?
