Mission Statement- Stop Suffering in Silence

Look no further! Mother-in-Law Hell is where sanity prevails. And don’t let the website name mislead you. We don’t think mothers-in-law should burn in hell. When you are dealing with someone who loves the same man you do, you actually feel like you are in some version of hell with no way out… until now!  Think of this website as your secret society of women that are on your side unless of course, we see that you are the problem. Then you need to be prepared for some tough love sister! You’re probably used to an eye roll or sympathetic nod from your hubby or single best friend when you talk about her… but not here! Chances are your fellow daughters-in-law have been through it or can relate, so indulge in Mother-in-Law Hell, the international online community where you can confide in women from all…

I am feeling a bit sentimental right now and want to share my life-changing experience with the DILS.  My mother and I are as close as any two human beings can possibly be. If there is such a thing as twin soul mates and I sure hope there is, then that is what we are.  She is not my best friend nor does she try to act like one. She is my mom.  The most wonderful mother a person could ever ask for. She is talented, funny, beautiful, intelligent, deep, caring, and strong. I can’t say that I ever lacked a great role model.

As a little girl, I would hear my mom and aunt tell stories of the time they spent in Africa as children. It seemed like another world to me when they would speak of the people, the culture, the homes, of course their adventures.  Their stories ignited something inside me that had me…

I happened to tune into tonight’s premiere and my goodness; is Antonio’s mother Yvonne the classic mother-in-law from hell or what???  I would be willing to bet my home that Tully Jenson could fill the pages of this website with MIL horror stories. I know it’s a show and some of of it is acting but some things are hard to fake. Bottom line, Antonio might seem like a good package but that package comes with his mother.  I have one word for these ladies–RUN!!!!!!

Tully Jenson-If you happen to find our site, share a story or two or 20. The DILS would love the 411 on Yvonne.

Maintaining a healthy and happy relationship is not always an easy feat. Great relationships take work. Even the most compatible of lovebirds will encounter cold spells and roadblocks on their journey to “happily ever after.”

Fortunately, there are a few simple things you can do to help ensure the success of your relationship:

  • Weekly date night: By now, most couples have heard about the “weekly date night” rule. But how many of you have actually taken this advice to heart? Chances are, you tried it once or twice…but then soon abandoned it in the face of kids, errands, and other priorities. Recommit to this relationship rule. You and your spouse need this time to talk, share, and bond. If you are short on time or cash, at least be sure to spend an hour or two together. Take a walk around the neighborhood, or share a few glasses of…

Although this might be dorky to some of you ladies, for those who loved NKOTB as young teens will enjoy these pics for sure. Last year, my SIL and I bought tickets from Iloveallaccess.com so we could meet the group. I would have to say that meeting them was a bit deflating. My favorite member was Jordan and he  came off pretty moody. However, once he got on stage, that all changed.

Two months later, I got Front Row tickets as a gift to the reunion tour in Ft.Lauderdale and had the best time of my life. When they came on stage, the sound that erupted from the sold out crowd was mind-blowing. We were grown women who turned into 14 year old girls. It was a feel good moment that I will never forget. New Kids Fans–Enjoy.

This pic is of Jordan Knight grabbing my hand. My SIL took the pic from…

People can guess pretty successfully what breed of dog a person might own just by looking at the owner, a new study finds. A group of 70 people who do not own dogs were asked to match photos of 41 dog owners to three possible breeds – Labrador, poodle or Staffordshire bull terrier. They matched the owners to the dogs more than half the time. Yet given three choices, they should have been right only about a third of the time.

“This suggests that certain breeds of dogs are associated with particular kinds of people,” said study leader Lance Workman, a psychologist at Bath Spa University in the UK.

It’s no secret that people are obsessed with pets. Two-thirds of American households have at least one, and dogs are the top choice (though by sheer numbers, fish win out).

And dog owners are particularly so, suggests a study in 2007 that found when…
