MIL crossed the line when it comes to death in the family

My in laws sent a bouquet of flowers to my mom’s house which was appreciated. When I returned back to California I came home and discovered a bouquet of white roses on the coffee table for me. At this point it had been about 3 weeks since the funeral and just after Thanksgiving. I called my MIL to thank her for all the flowers and maybe 2 minutes into the conversation she told me that it was “time to get over it, everybody dies”. I was actually shocked and couldn’t believe someone would have the audacity to say that but coming from her its expected.
